Platform: posterboy.ai (“the Website” or “the Platform”)

By creating an account or using Posterboy, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Posterboy provides tools to:

  • Generate images using AI and other technologies.
  • Order printed posters based on generated or uploaded images.

2. Ownership of Images

All images generated or uploaded via Posterboy are the property of the creator (the account holder who generated or uploaded the image).

By default, images may be displayed publicly on the Platform and offered for sale as printed posters.

Exception: If you mark an image as “Private”, it will not be shared publicly or offered for sale.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, or share.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to copyright, intellectual property rights, and content regulations.
  • You must not generate, upload, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, violent, pornographic, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • You must not infringe on the rights of others.

Posterboy reserves the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or is deemed inappropriate at our discretion. Posterboy does not take any responsibility for the content you create, upload, or share.

4. License to Posterboy

By using the Platform, you grant Posterboy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Display your images on the Platform (unless marked as “Private”).
  • Offer them for sale as printed posters (unless marked as “Private”).

This license is solely for the operation and promotion of the Platform.

5. Payments and Orders

  • Prices for posters and services are listed on the Website and may change at any time.
  • By placing an order, you agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and shipping costs.
  • Orders are binding once confirmed. As all orders are print on demand, refunds or returns are only accepted under special circumstances.

  • Delivery: production and shipping times are provided at checkout; delays may occur due to carrier or production capacity.

5b. Withdrawal, returns and refunds

  • For EU consumers, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized (print-on-demand posters). If applicable, this right is excluded as permitted by law.
  • We accept returns or issue refunds for defective, damaged, or misprinted items. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and order details.
  • If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method.

6. Disclaimers

  • The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • Posterboy makes no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted service.
  • You understand that generated images may be imperfect, unexpected, or contain artifacts.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Posterboy and C2 Software AB are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Posterboy and C2 Software AB against any claims arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to copyright infringement, misuse of content, or violations of law.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

Posterboy may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms,
  • Misuse the Platform, or
  • Engage in unlawful activity.

9. Privacy

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9a. DMCA/Copyright Policy (US)

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a notice to our designated agent with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material (URL).
  • Your contact details and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.

10. Changes to Terms

Posterboy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Swedish courts.

12. Consumer rights (EU/UK)

  • Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
  • If a provision conflicts with applicable consumer law, that provision is modified to the minimum extent necessary.
